Why Is Email Etiquette Important

You utilize email as one of your primary communication tools. In fact, some places rely almost entirely on email for their business communication. Whether it’s internal emails or emails to customers and vendors how you communicate matters a lot.

Most people lack training in regards to email. I think this is because our current expectations are if you can talk and turn on a computer, you can email.

Taking time to improve your communication via email (and knowing when not to use email) is a great way to improve relationships. And, it’s a great way to get prioritized amongst all the other emails in someone’s inbox. Improved response time means hitting deadlines, and being more productive.
